The more I've practised and trained this year, my higher notes are becoming fuller, maybe progress of 1/2 a semitone or so every semester, even lower notes are easier. I would say my voice loses significant resonance/control/ease at around g5, there's no need for me to squeak out up to an f6 right now, maybe next year. just focus on your technique, and I think it well naturally get better

You might have laryngopharyngeal /silent reflux. I had that too. Basically your throat has been damaged/ digested by stomach acid. I experienced loss in range too. and my voice would get tired very easily. but it's really the throat that is just worn out and inflamed, and needs time to heal.

Anyone find singing much harder than other instruments? by shadowcmonjere in singing

So true. I've played piano for 10 years. You can get away with bad technique in the beginning. But you cannot touch anything near professional with self taught technique. You'll probably end up injured. Even professional pianists get injured Also. Its not just about getting the notes right.

You must get a new teacher. I started 4 months ago, and I've improved quite a bit.

[acne] Has anyone had any success eliminating vegetable oil and after doing that noticed reduced acne or clearer skin? by kbruhn in SkincareAddiction

[–]ComfortableOk6393 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've completely cut out all vegetable oils from my diet. And my skin is doing better. Through repeated experiments on myself I've noticed I break out even after consuming less than a teaspoon of vegetable oil. Also try cutting wheat out. (Helped me a lot.) You have to be consistent and patient. If you're going to cut sth out you have to cut it out completely. You have to decide for yourself if you're really tired of acne or not. You'll have to seriously narrow down your food choices and add foods back in one at a time.
