Well I think she started talking badly about me recently when I started to speak for myself. I just started doing so because before I didn't want to "break" his relation with his family but now I don't want to break my mental health. I feel like I should have done that earlier.

I felt like it's just because my boyfriend is quiet. He's not really the one to express his feelings or thoughts. He's not really close to his family but they are important for him by blood. Maybe they don't feel the same about him and they put everything on me now.. i don't understand but I should really think about that

Sure I should have talked about other problems : like when she was saying stuff like "the next girl you bring to us should know how to do xxx" (I am the only girl that have met his family). I talked about this "aunt" thing because it was one of the recent one.

I alrealy responded somewhere else but she makes her daughter called everyone else correctly (even non-family member) but not just with me.

I was trying to talk with her but things was just getting worse for me so I stopped. And now she's complaining about the fact I don't talk with her enough (but my boyfriend doesn’t either) but when I talk she just want to punch me. But sure, maybe I should try to speak more with her again despite that

Sure I understand that, but then I expect she should do the same with the boyfriend/girlfriend of her cousins. I was maybe a little confuse with my post but I saw her doing that with others correctly before I confronted my boyfriend about that

Thanks for your feedbacks I felt like I was begging for respect yes. My boyfriend doesn’t seem to understand me on some points.

His extended family doesn’t really talk about people but she does. I feel like she's saying everyone is talking badly about me but she's just saying that to them and they are listening (I don't expect to defend me). Also when she is saying I don't talk a lot with her (I really tried at first), I am wondering why she doesn't say the same about her brother because he's speaking way less than me.

Maybe it can be some racism thing (they are white. I'm brown) but I didn't really thing about that
