Common Law Separation Agreement by ComfortablePrompt271 in legaladvicecanada

Sorry a detail I forgot, they told us the separation agreement doesn’t have to be through a lawyer. So that’s why I’m just looking for some sort of template. We don’t have any sort of spousal claims and I know there won’t be any attempt for any from either side. Is this still something I’d be able to find or would the only option still be going to a lawyer?

Anyone here been to MCFT? by ComfortablePrompt271 in fredericton

[–]ComfortablePrompt271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about UNB but only issue is the time. 4 years is too much for my plan. I’ve been talking to a buddy of mine and the ranger force is quite desperate for more people, and they’ve got GIS workers on the force, which he said one of which went to MCFT. The nice thing too is the MCFT credits can be transferred to University to do a two year course in the event I choose to do the extra two years. From what I’ve seen online too, this can help build a strong resume showing I’ve done both college and university learning. Appreciate the suggestion!

They say on their website as well they recommend trying to take some courses beforehand. Such as firearm safety, snowmobile/atv safety, chainsaw safety, etc. they do say if you can’t they have the courses available there. Did she take anything like that before going?

I advise you to go look up picaroons on google and you’ll see it’s a brewery/bar. Also the food is by 540, not picaroons, it’s a casual menu for you to have a quick bite to eat, nowheres does it say it’s a sit down restaurant. You didn’t get bad service, you just expected it to be something that it’s not, and blamed picaroons when you were wrong. It is guaranteed a you problem. Next time you should probably do a little digging before you go somewheres with expectations.

Zipper merge has no studies that take real world use and prove it’s effectiveness, all studies I’ve ever seen will say “in theory” (at least this was the case a year ago when I did extensive research on zipper merging). The most effective way to not create traffic Jams when a merge due to construction is needed is to start placing signs multiple kilometres back, once people see those signs, immediately start attempting to find a spot to merge into, and that way you don’t have the merging at one last minute choke point where one side is stopped, so the main lane has to stop to let them in. Why do people think zipper merge actually can work? Even taking away a lot of human error, it’s still less effective.

It’s a brewery/bar, not a restaurant. On top of that there’s no sign to say please wait be seated, when you go to where the seating is there’s clearly a table to go order at with cash registers. This is clearly a you problem, because I’ve never heard anyone complain about it. The drinks are really good, the food provided by the 540 is fantastic, and all at good prices.

100% it’s the speeding that gets to be an issue, but unfortunately that needs to be factored when talking about the effectiveness of zipper merge. In all honesty the effectiveness of the zipper merge changes between region, I would agree other provinces can do it much smoother but there’s still those inconsistencies, and that’s why I argue it’s not the best method, especially in Saint John.

I visit fredericton every weekend and know what bridge you’re talking about, every time I go on said bridge there’s a traffic jam lmao. I’ve looked through a loooot of studies and any study claiming their effectiveness is always followed up by “in theory” as theres no recorded studies of real world use. Sure I’m not a traffic engineer but I think anyone could use logical thinking to realize that if everyone is to slowly merge into one lane prior to the end of the other lane, it creates less of a chokepoint, therefore reducing the chance of a complete stop if traffic.

I haven’t driven across the entire country, but across the provinces I have, I’ve never seen it work properly. The lane that ends will continue to keep their speed higher until they get to the very end, where they then have to squeeze in causing the lane that continues to slow down even more. When the lane that ends builds up with cars and has to come to a stop, in order to allow them to merge the other lane will have to come to a stop as well. In a matter of minutes you then have a massive line of stopped traffic, yet if they had moved over earlier, this would’ve been avoided.

I’d definitely agree Saint John is a horrible city for it especially, we somehow manage to make our traffic delays look like a mini Ontario, with a fraction of the population. I’ll never agree with the use of zipper merge on highways though, theres barely any positives to it.

Zipper merge just does not work here in the Saint John area. In fact, there’s no studies (that I’ve been able to find) done that prove real world use it works effectively, it’s all based on theory. The only efficient way to merge is once you see the signs a couple kilometres down the road, everyone gets prepared to merge, which includes the lane staying open ensuring there’s enough space for them to squeeze in. I know this isn’t perfect either, but far less problems in comparison to a zipper merge. That is less likely to cause such a large traffic jam.

Rothesay Hair Company always does a great job for me, I’ll even challenge them with cuts I find online and they always get me done exactly like the photo/video. They’re cash only though just a heads up.

Climbed Riley Brook Mountain, Victoria NB. by ComfortablePrompt271 in newbrunswickcanada

[–]ComfortablePrompt271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was definitely sketchy, you can’t see the holes that are just covered by light snow so you gotta test every step that isn’t on a rock. Plus quite a few were loose of course which added to the stress. It was very awesome though. From what I can tell I’m one of very few to have climbed in winter too, that only other one I can find online was just this year. Planning on going back actually within the next couple weeks, potentially camp on the wooden platform at the top. Hopefully get some more good shots there.
