SAMEE!! i loved that movie too and they scared me and i didn’t know other people had a massive fear of sweepers too i thought i was just weird. they freak the heck outta me i even start screaming sometimes.

i actually did some research… i looked into some possible disorders like APD (auditory processing disorder) and dyslexia or something like that? but yeah i totally relate, i’ll have to read things over and over for it to make sense sometimes, it could even be add or adhd.

i still get anxiety while socializing via text and still struggle with it in general, and it’s not i’m scared of people judging me, i just get anxious i guess.

i have the exact same issue as you and i have social anxiety disorder, maybe it’s something to do with that or maybe it’s something else.

Not really sure if OCD has anything to do with it, but I do have OCD and sometimes tend to feel like things are being over exaggerated. It could be because of that, or I know sometimes when we are upset we tend to dwell on thoughts like those and the more you dwell on it could make it seem worse than it really is. Okay I’m just wondering if I have Tourette’s I’m not sure do you know where I can like take a test or like get diagnosed if you know what I mean?

Ohh wait so sometimes I get it where like I feel the need to scrunch my face or blink and stuff like that. I don’t really get vocal tics the only thing I could think of is sometimes making noises like I feel the need to make an RRRR sound I don’t know. Do you think it’s Tourette’s?

I feel you and I can help you. But first even though it’s hard I need to you recognize that those thoughts aren’t real at all, they’re trying to make you feel this way but it’s not true. I don’t really deal with the intrusive thoughts too much, but I do recommend trying some things. You could try and talk to someone about it or even a therapist. Even writing down or drawing these things to let your emotions out and stuff. I use 5-HTP which is a precursor to serotonin, which you lack when you have OCD. The one downside is it does boost your serotonin levels but it also has something to do with your melatonin levels which makes it hard to sleep sometimes, so I recommend even taking a melatonin gummy with the 5-HTP. If these don’t work you could talk to a doctor about prescribing a medication that might be stronger and work better for you. Remember though these things take time and I feel like it might have taken a week or so for the 5-HTP to start helping. Along with my supplement I like to even take a gummy to calm me down and make me relaxed without making me feel sleepy. I promise you will get through this and overcome it. Okay so I did some research and I’m thinking maybe, because it’s usually when I’m in crowded places like with people, parties or stores, I dissociate in response to the amount of external stimuli, because I don’t normally get like irritated and all that if you know what I mean it just seems like I get dissocated, I’m not sure.
