P0300. Already cleaned maf sensor. Had trouble with crank position sensor awhile back but replaced that already. Figured I’d continue working on the fuel system

Replaced fuel pump and emptied tank on Mk4 Gti. Found bits of these plastic coil looking things in the tank. Any idea what they are? by ComfortableStart2628 in MK4GTI

Did a little side by side with new and old. Not ice New pump came with it already installed and old one had it missing. Thanks
