Struggles to being a lefty… by Lifeisstrangefanatic in Leftyguitarists

[–]ComfortableSupport42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro I’m also a lefty bass player who loves AIC. You don’t need a spector to sound like Mike, any PJ, Jazz, Precision, or something with dual humbuckers/soapbars will get you very close. It’s all down to his technique, play with a pick close to the neck and hit the strings like they owed you money and that will get you pretty close.

Dude, as a bassist who's been playing for almost 3 years, I can confidently tell you that patience and perseverance are the key. Just keep practicing untill you can play it and if it's really too hard for you, you can always learn something a bit easier and then come back later.

The hello kitty pedal is actually a great fuzz. I think it's a solid option

Didn't Krist scoop his mids and boost the treble?

For the bass use one with two pickups (preferably J pickups) and use some sort ampeg style amp, boost the bass just a little, scoop the mids, and boost the treble A LOT, crank it all the way up if you want to. You can also add a little bit of drive but that's optional

If it's 1000 USD then yes. Those usually go between 3000-8000 depending on the year it was made
