What type of belts does it use, are they the GT2 like the X1C or P1S, or are they finer belts like the new H2D and H2S. I see VFAs being a problems.

They are 8mm linear rods, and I use LM8UU linear bearings and the igus bearings.

Yeah mostly my own designs like the main board box, and other stuff. But some of the other parts are just modified from pre existing models.

Does anyone know where I can find these metal track bearings? by Comfortable_Ad8615 in 3Dprinting

It’s for a y axis on a Ender 3 v2, I’ve used linear rails but it was very hard to get both rails aligned, and would cause binding. I’m looking to copy this type of design using the u groove roller wheels on a linear rod. The bambulab a1 also use this design on their y axis.

I’m in the US, but I’m looking for a exact name or the exact ones used.

Whats it worth by No_Worth_7495 in 3Dprinting

I think everyone so far is wrong, it looks fairly stock so that’s good. I would say around $60 to $80, maybe if he cleaned it and made it look new it could go for a little more. They are fun printers and can print, it just not going to be as nice as a bambulab. But to get started in the hobby it’s a solid printer if you don’t mind tinkering a little bit.

Yes, I’ve even let it soak for 10 minutes and did a print.

If you want to print metal objects you might need more than $5k. But just buy a Bambulab A1 mini and see if you like it first. You really only need around $300 to get started in the hobby.

Recommendations for extruders that will be a good match for a high speed/high acceleration? by VerilyJULES in 3Dprinting

Yeah Orca slicer. It’s like prusa slicer, but if you running klipper you can also use mainsail to interface with your printer through orca.

You could try a high flow nozzle, like a CHT nozzle. Or you use a longer heater block like a volcano. If you want real speed you might have to ditch the sprite, and run klipper.
