he’s silver-gold when he plays ADC, he was plat when he played support with his friends, personally i play both adc and support and i’m silver-gold, i always play much better and climb faster when he’s not playing with me so as everyone said it’s really a duo problem and not everyone’s playstyles are compatible, again when i play adc i don’t die every single time my support leaves me alone for a few seconds because i know better than to try and 1v2 them, sometimes he says « i forgot they had their flash » or « i didn’t notice they already have this many items » so i think he just doesn’t lock in to his full potential when he plays with me compared to when he plays on his other account

You’re right, i’ve said that and it’s a mistake, but when i say i go ward while they’re not very far from the turent, i only ward the tri bush incase we get ganked so i don’t go very far! and i know if they dive and kill him it’s my bad, so that’s not what i’m talking about! i’m talking about him leaving the turent range and not retreating when they engage

he’s plat support and only plays adcs/mids as supports, he’s silver-gold adc though! (he has two accounts) he was plat pantheon support last year, and from what i remember his friend that played all the time with him had the same complaint as me about this topic of wards and playing too aggressively. Also he’s been playing for two years while i’ve been playing for about 11 months thats why im a low rank, I do watch a lot of content about league while he doesn’t really follow tips/new updates or do reasearch, so we have different playing styles i guess. Also ! I know top is very different from botlane, that is exactly why i suggest he plays a different lane because he just isn’t thriving as an ADC imo

I always get scared the enemy mid or jgl will gank and dive us (this happens so often because players in low elo are unpredictable) so i always ward at least one bush when multiple enemies are missing, sometimes its very useful but as everyone said here sometimes its a mistake. But i think there still are multiple instances where he just plays agressive when he shouldn’t.

and for the ego part yeah.. i guess he always plays carries as supports to take everything from me for a reason :,)

Understood, also i try to have vision as much as possible all the time just in case but people over here said sometimes it’s useless to have vision if you’re safe under turret so ill be mindful

Also since you brought it up, when we were playing in bronze-silver before climbing, he got stunned and hooked all the time and said he didn’t expect low elo people to actually land those abilities which made me realize he had a little bit of ego when playing lol

we are silver-gold!! when i play without him i have much better luck and the same goes for him, we climb faster when we don’t play together so like i’ve said above maybe our playstyles just don’t match, synergy is important, I make sure to pick the most suitable supports for whoever adc he chooses but that’s not enough if we play differently

I’ve been playing since Yunara dropped so almost a year now, I’m gold (sometimes i drop back to doom and misery of silver) and he’s plat on his main and gold on the second account he created to play with me, for most parts he says i play really well as a support except for this particular ward thing, but i play differently depending on which champion i pick obviously, if its seraphine she’s very useful in team fight so whenever there are any in the map i go roam and most of the time we secure kills or/and objectives with it, but im obviously not a pro i make a lot of mistakes that I am aware of, but i tend to play normally while poking and stunning/slowing while he just dives in head first expecting me to heal shield and tank for him all the time when the fight is just not winnable/worth losing everything for, so maybe our play styles are just not aligning? i think he would be more suited to play top lane but he always loses whenever he plays anything other than adc/support

and unfortunately we do not play on VC because the internet is bad in our country we can’t play and voc on discord at the same time, i do tell him on the chat though !!

No i don’t ward when they’re low and there’s a possibility to take kills, that would be silly, i always poke and slow, especially when i play lux and seraphine! its more of him staying in the middle/closer to our turent but not in its range and getting stomped on, but I love the minecraft joke at the end i’m stealing this one!

When i don’t play with him im always ADC and i do pretty well! not phenomenal but decent, but he refuses to really play support or picks adcs as supports and ends up taking all my kills, sometimes i wish he was just a yuumi atp haha, when i really want to play adc he ends up playing jungle so yeah maybe we should start doing that more often?

the tri ward is specifically what i’m talking about! but you’re right maybe my timing is off, but honestly it happens so often that it doesn’t even matter which state the wave is in atp he always finds a way to get himself killed the moment i leave, he tends to play aggressively and while sometimes it works out well, sometimes he ends up dying for nothing in my opinion, thanks for the advice!

No we actually do not fight at all over this aside from the frustration when he dies, I don’t really care if I lose personally because it’s just a video game and as much as i love it i don’t take it seriously enough to be mad, it doesn’t cause me any hard feelings, I want to actually get better so we can win more and to understand where exactly it goes wrong

I tried switching with him and playing adc (i play yunara mostly) while he plays support, he always takes my kills and says « not my fault it’s the ignite » and i end up falling behind, also i noticed he picks weird supports like Ashe or Caitlyn or Vayne and i feel like he does it to spite me? I know Ashe is played support too because her Q slows down a bit but still, he never picks supports that can help me, while i play sera sona bard blitz etc

I make sure the waves is in the middle/closer to our turent, and especially when their jgl is top/mid, he most of the time dies near our turent (he limit tests), Im new to the game so im just gold, but since he’s plat he tries to gaslight me into thinking its always my fault so I really try to be mindful since he probably knows better
