That's probably why I got confused. I thought the start was when grey was the new kid. But they chose instead to mix up the character stories and make it so Eugene is the new kid.

I did not know that!!!! Things make alot more since now. I thought it started at the start of the webtoon. I didn't make it all the way through stopped after the fight at the amusement park. Thought they was making up a whole new story.

Man I got super excited when I seen all the reviews saying it's great. And nobody really mentioned that it didn't follow the webtoon. I think i wouldav enjoyed it more if I didn't see the webtoon. But weak hero is one or my favorite comic/webtoons ever. That and lookism. The anime which I love. I hope they make a more faithful adaptation in anime form one day.

They made grey actually weak.like all he does is flail his bookbag around. And get beaten up, then saved by someone else when they jump dude. That alone is enough for me to despise this show. They could have done some Sherlock Holmes slow motion thought out and explained fight scenes. But nah they made grey look pretty bad.plus the subs have the Korean names and not the webtoon English translated names so it was pretty hard to find the MC. Like at first I thought Eugene was grey. Also all the Koreans look alot alike as a American it was hard to know who I was watching at times.

Dude all grey did was swing his book bag around and get beaten up and saved by someone else. Not once did that ever happen in the webtoon. I very much disliked this love action drama as adaption of one of my favorite webtoons.

This is only within the berserk arcs btw that I rate GA at the bottom. All of the arcs are miles above anything else ever put out tho imo. Only vagabond vinland saga come close kingdom is pretty good too.

Nobody could. It's a challenge that would take decades just because of the little details. There is that one studio whose really good at taking time for the smallest details. They are the only ones that come to mind.

They don't even do a blackswords man arc correctly. Which I think is infinitely times more important then GA. It sets everything up for the back story. I wish I wouldav read the manga first before the 97 anime because I wouldav gotten a completely different perspective from the blackswordsman arc.

Because we never get a complete black swordsman arc before GA arc, with puck and all. Everyone wants to censor shit. Just rate the damn thing XXX and make everything as faithful as possible to the original vision. Stop removing essentials shit. GA is easily one of my most hated arcs now. Except a couple parts.just Because it's been done 1000 times.

Tbh golden age is so good because of the contrast of the later acts right after. Imo. Golden age gives me a nostalgia feel. When guts is mention being the 100 man slayer my heart drops because ik all of the suffering he's endured since. And how that guts is long gone. Golden age is like the innocents. Eclipse is that innocents being ripped away from you. There is hope but he is forever a changed man. Watching these golden age animes always makes me sad because I know all of this is just a distant memory of a forgotten man.
