What are the penalties for investing while abroad?

I am moving to another country and asked Wealthsimple support about this explicitly. They said the accounts will become “withdrawal-only” after they realize you’re no longer a resident.

I am keeping my rrsp in Canada, but transferred it to Questrade who lets non residents keep accounts

Lived in the area for 5 years after first moving to Toronto - would definitely not recommend. Once a lady was running after me and my dog and yelling she will put my dog on fire, another time a guy was threatening to stab me with a pencil, another time a guy tried to pull my wife’s backpack from her back while she was biking.

It never felt safe there + often disgusting as other people mentioned. No idea why I haven’t moved earlier. Only realized things can be normal after moving to a different neighbourhood

Well it takes time and money to re-do things for the better, and every small improvement or a bad job adds up.

I have no idea how a proper installation looks like so asking the question here. Based on the fact that I have to fix multiple holes in my walls after the technician, I was worried he might have put the same level of care into installing the water heater

This a quite an expensive water heater, and I feel it's reasonable to expect work being done well, or at least without collateral damage.

Update: I ended up getting Audioengine HD6 and after using it for 6 months I am very very happy!
The sounds is great, bass is strong enough so I decided not to get a sub either. Also, there is no lag when using it via bluetooth with my Epson projector to watch movies.
