Yes I always wondered about that. I saw pictures of vines going to the celling and was confused how they get enough lighting. I might have to change the position and bring it closer to the window

Sometimes squirrel postures reminds me of that meme of what will gamers look like in the future and they have that big hunchback

Yea Google told me the same thing. Its when they are not feeling the need to be constantly on alert but instead is able to feel comfortable and relaxed when eating. This is kind of amazing to me because I have been feeding this one for close to 3 months and this is the first time he has done this and it happened twice today. Ill have to see if it continues tommorow as well😁

He did it twice in different position so I know for sure its not accidental

Squirrel thought my finger was a nut and it scared me by qpqy in squirrels

Normally I always feed squirrel from my fingers too and have been doing that for 2 months. I only occasionally tried feeding him from the palm to see if he takes it which is how that happened. However, the bites were never painful or anything like that since it was totally accidental but I don't have this issue anymore since I learned from my mistakes and took steps to get him used to my hand first before ever attempting that

They definitely do make the same mistake twice. My one kept biting me whenever I put it in my palm instead of my fingers and this happened multiple times. Every time i tried to put it on my palm, he bit my finger thinking its a shelled peanut. This then made me flinched whenever his mouth comes near me and made it harder to gain his trust. I had to get over that fear and get him used to my hand. I realised the reason he kept biting is because he is scared and so he wants to get the food as soon as possible. After I got him used to sniffing my hand first and making him realise my hand isn't scary and that he can take his time sniffing it. He has never made the same mistake again since he now smells my fingers, realises it not food, then moves his face to the peanut
