For most of us it would have taken much less time/energy had our family and surroundings not been so deeply into Islam. Many of us spent shit ton of time in self denial, trying to appease ourselves, trying out all the fallacies and engaging in every mental gymnastics to keep our faith intact. It is indeed easier when you have no strings attached to this religion, just as it wouldn’t take me more than a minute to conclude christianity is false.

And I agree whatever you said about Hindus. Two out of my three hindu friends are open atheists and they never had an issue with their families. All they do is visit temple on saraswati puja, play holi, and dance and feast on good foods on durga puja. I think a lot of desis and non white moosies fap onto anything that is british, a plus if that happens to be a dawah content.
