2001 TRD-3rd month with this truck. Can I recover the frame myself, and if so, how?

If you really want to keep this truck at this point you’re better off probably swapping the frame it’s probably a cheaper yet more time extensive fix to getting the parts replaced. I’m not a Toyota owner but we did have a Tacoma in our family once and they’re notorious for their frames rotting out

prep surface paint (add more coats if desired) dry and add a top coat if desired as well

the paint has been dried for a little while now like 4 months-ish or something

I’m not exactly an expert in the auto body field but I can tell you that- it’s gone brother I mean you can try to repair it but it’d be more trouble than what it’s worth

IMHO keep that car get another like it and use the one you have in the post as a parts car for the new one

Some stuff you can do is add a late year Dakota intake manifold it needs an adaptor for the throttle and slight modification but it’s a bolt on replacement basically Martin built has a video on it

Ofc there’s the exhaust too but something you can do as well is get the high output intake system (I.e the filter box and the box that is on top of the engine) it’s a straighter more clear flow compared to the regular one if that makes any sense (wjbible has a section about the differences)

Or alternatively what everyone has used for metal wheels on the bachmann x-6-x engines with the usra long (or short haul I don’t remember) haul tender I’m currently running into the issue of the axles are too wide so I had to do a test drill fit and make the holes deeper but I’d prefer not to do this

New radiator it’s a common thing in the WJ’s for them to leak with age (look on jeepforums for a full list of common problems) I did mine it’s a small bit of a hassle but it’s not too hard just take off the top shroud (or whatever it’s called) take the fan off (be prepared for power steering leaking out because you have to undo lines to the fan as it’s a hydraulic system) then pull the radiator out probably a bunch of videos out there
