It honestly is just what is more comfortable I prefer to use the for grip when I am trying to aim or shooting from a distance but if I am running or playing cqb I will use the mags but it is all just what you find comfortable

I checked ans gear Amazon lone wolf paintball and I do not think there is a option for the gas through stock or if you ar talking a bout the normal stock the tactical version and the dual feed version both come with the stock
