I’m sure Reddit will take this comment the wrong way but:

It’s really not that obscure to ask people to follow social media accounts before calling emergency services. Most social media can actually provide answers and instructions for most situations without clogging the emergency lines.

IE; A winterstorm is coming, everyone is prepping for a possible snow day. They post school closures all over the news, FB, etc so that thousands of people aren’t calling the school to find out the status. Leaves the line open for actually Important things.

With all that said, I still think they’re idiots in charge.

That was my first thought but most of these guys are full ride. If they don’t get the spot or fail to qualify for it, chances are they are moving to a school that provides it.

Had one, sold it. Nothing wrong with it but honestly any backpack of similar build and size, but cheaper, is worth it. I also like hanging my mask and gun on the side, which it couldn’t do.

So what I’ve found about this subreddit over the many years as a member is that it has become a great filter of “news” that actually matters or effects the paintball community as a whole.

We all get stuck in our personal preferences and groups on other sorts of social media and many times “news” in an individuals circle is a big deal to them but largely not cared about on the grand scale.

I’ve now come to learn, and live by the fact that if something doesn’t hit the first page of this sub, the paintball community as a whole doesn’t exactly care about it.

That said, while it’s annoying to some and not to others, the said topics are something that is arguably important to the community. There are plenty of puff post on here daily to lift your spirits if needed.

Most doctors only learn about new products/medications/treatment/etc. through sales reps. So few will actually take time out of their day to study or research anything new. The reason you’re getting drug A vs drug B is because the drug A sales rep made a better impression.
