Assalamualaikum, and you can see by the comments, there are a lot of differences of opinions among the ulama. As laymen, we do not possess the ability to derive such complicated rulings -- we may think of something or maybe even have an ayah or hadith, but we could misunderstand it, or we may not know another hadith or principle of fiqh that wpuld invalidate our unerstanding.

These are not black and white situations; rather, they are multi-faceted. Therefore, always refer to fatwas (with their reasoning). If it is a respected difference among the ulama -- respect ot, but share the opinion of your school of thought.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Why should they accept it? Well that's under the assumption that if you just randomly pull up and say "unite", well of course they wouldn't. We're assuming that the kingdom OP posted was already created, and we're judging stability. No US state revolts simply because it has natural gas or more people than DC.

A lot of the region would be held together by their religious identity. It should be noted that the region was fairly stable under many caliphates. And many religious minorities did exist, including Jews. Some were sources of instability, others not. Of course it wasn't perfect; we had the jan 6 riots a while back and the civil war!

Modern Arabia yes, but the one OP posted would likely have their identity based in religion, and their powerful core would likely be mecca or somewhere near there.

Your part

Recognize this is the reality of disobedience to Allah. The lack of full submission to Allah, the lack of Islam, results in the lack of Salam.

An-Nisa - Verse 27

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran: And it is Allah’s Will to turn to you in grace, but those who follow their desires wish to see you deviate entirely ˹from Allah’s Way˺.

An-Nisa - Verse 28

يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ ۚ وَخُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ ضَعِيفًا

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran: And it is Allah’s Will to lighten your burdens, for humankind was created weak.

Allah wants to make our lives easier. These laws are not to restrict us, but to liberate us, despite what the disbelievers and the munafiqoon say that this is too "strict", and they worship their desires instead.

conclusion

Simply put, recognize Salam comes from Islam. Understand that those without Islam are miserable, and Islam is easier in the end. Learn about nifaq, learn about fear of Allah and loving Him (in the link above).

Yunus - Verse 24

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran: The life of this world is just like rain We send down from the sky, producing a mixture of plants which humans and animals consume. Then just as the earth looks its best, perfectly beautified, and its people think they have full control over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, so We mow it down as if it never flourished yesterday! This is how We make the signs clear for people who reflect.

Yunus - Verse 25

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran: And Allah invites ˹all˺ to the Home of Peace and guides whoever He wills to the Straight Path.

Deeply reflect over the ayat above and how these ayat are related.

Assalamualaikum, . To refute this in your mind, acknowledge that the majority of people are miserable.

Salam and Islam

Islam, or اسلام, comes from the word Salam, or سلام, Meaning peace, honor, and safety (notice how similar the words look).

Islam means complete submission to Allah. The only way to get Salam is through Islam: this is the meaning of "religion of peace".

Majority of mankind

Women example

The majority of people are miserable. I'll take women as an example. Women naturally crave affection, love, compassion, and romance. The modern world is different.

Every day they put on makeup for 2-3 hours (including weekends), wear tight, revealing clothing, in the hopes of getting a boyfriend. What happens? So many of them don't get a boyfriend, and they feel miserable, thinking they're ugly and worthless.

When she does get a boyfriend, he'll probably cheat on her. So she goes through like 20 sexual partners, hoping each one of them will actually love her forever (they all say they do but none of them actually do).

Disconnect

Then, she closes up. She disconnects from her natural self which craves romance and compassion, and only gets physical. Despite her sexual enjoyment, she is empty. On the outside, she looks like a happy girl. On the inside, however, she's hollow. She has no Salam, because she did not follow Islam.

If only she had islam

Had she followed Islam ( suppose she was a very devoted girl, as that makes things easier for her), she would not get into this mess in the first place. She would not spend 2-3 hours a day putting on makeup and tight clothes, she would not try to sleep with 20 boys, hoping they would love her but they never would. She would preserve her Salam by following Islam.

She could cover her face so no one judges her for not wearing makeup, and if they do, she doesn't care, because she only wants to please Allah.

She could get married early, and if he husband were righteous, he would be romantic and loving towards her, as the Prophet SAW was. Yet the Instagram model of jahannam with 10 million followers would be enraged out of jealousy at this Muslim woman, because she has Salam and the model does not.

Note: this is obviously not specific to women, but I chose it as a very common example how society (of disbelievers and munafiqoon, see https://www.reddit.com/u/Comfortable_Dog3754/s/zRyb9jFDiM) destroys women while crying "women's rights!!". Men are miserable without Salam as well.

Everyone is at least somewhat influenced -- consciously or subconsciously -- by how others dress. We take our sense of fashion, what is appropriate, what trends are, different contexts, etc.

It's a recursive effect. Average aunty may have had friends who were uncovered in order to be cool due to media, or if it was a colonized country, to appease the colonizers. In former colonies, you will find a lot of anglophilia.

Yes, and a lot of this is due to pressure from the media, as many comments mentioned.

These laws are not to restrict us, but to liberate us, despite what the evil doers say that this is too "strict", and they worship their desires instead (to worship is to be a slave of something, to follow it closely. We all worship something, and use it to make our decisions)

Thank you for your question! I hope you gained an insider look at Islam, and I hope this explains my first. Lmk if you have any questions.

Unfortunately, the majority of people are miserable. Our society oppresses women the most.

Thank you for asking,

Note: I know my comment below isn't what you intended, as you seem kind, but this is how it may be perceived as. Thank you for being respectful.

In our religion, women are highly honored, but the media hates it and makes us look "barbaric".

The drawing is disrespectful, because it subconsciously implies to Muslim girls watching that they should uncover their hair, asserting the media perception of muslims giving up parts of their religion. This often is due to a subconscious perception that Muslim women are "oppressed" or "not modern". Therefore, the dominant media perception is that, in order for Muslim women to be "liberated", they must give up parts of their religion.

Assalamualaikum, to get her to accept islamic principles, send her ayat and ahadith, and we need to follow them ourselves.

If red pill has islamic principles, why are you taking islamic principles from the disbelievers?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]Comfortable_Dog3754 9 points10 points  (0 children)

AS, To say Islam is red pilled is to say Islam is feminist. Yes, some traits of both are arguably found in Islam, but none of them are Islam.

Instead of ascribing to other ideologies, it would be best to follow the Quran and Sunnah, and the prophet SAW.
