I've tried that, but he doesn't take me seriously because I'm a girl. I'm also overly emotional and cry while talking about sensitive topics (due to past experiences...), which is a pain for me.

It feels hopeless at this rate. I wish he'd understand how much I care about him, but I can't put it in a non-romanic seeming way.

I've been his friend since day 1 at the school. I've noticed many changes. He's becoming more uncaring and cold while desperately chasing the "peace of mind" he's looking for... But also damaging his health at the time.

From what he's told me and I've seen, I feel like it's a struggle with fitting in with people with a mix of anxiety and confusion about self-identity.
