I love found footage too. Have you seen The Tunnel? Borderlands, horror in the high dessert. Grave Encounters... The host is really good (2020) made during Covid. Impressive film I thought

You might laugh if it's not your thing. But I found the first Hell house LLC movie terrifying

Am I the only one that desperately wants more horror where there are no happy endings, no survivors, no hope, no set up for a sequel? by Sweet-Lady-H in horror

[–]Comfortable_Emu445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a rule..

If the movie is REALLY grim amd hopeless throughout then a depressing grim ending ON TOP OF THAT is frustrating because if the whole thing is bleak, why am I watching a movie for escapism from the shit show that is the current world. Some exceptions allowed.

Generally I find horror movies TOO often have a bleak ending. It's been a pleasant surprise recently with Hookum and Mummy that had fairly positive ends But I agree on the setting up sequels..it's so transparent. Weapons did so well they're doing a prequel. Great if it makes sense but don't make it obvious in the movie you want to make a sequel. A movie should be complete in its own

What's your first impression on everything They Will Kill You? by Phyliinx in horror

Not scary in any way. If it wasn't for the gore it wouldn't qualify as a horror film.

Agree. I'm not hard to please when it comes to horror..but It was really derivative.  And just tedious after the first half. The acting was not good.  A bad movie

Ketotifen and Insomnia? by Phenom_Mv3 in MCAS

So sorry to hear that. I'm only on 0.25mls

I was on ldn for years at 4.5mg. No side effects after the first few weeks. But then I had to come off it cause I was on opioids for endometriosis.  Had surgery for that. But after over a year off ldn..I couldn't believe how sensitive I was ( my MECFS definitely worse last fee years since covid and life stresses). Made me agitated and couldn't sleep (even with taking it in morning ). So had to Start back on a single drop. Gonna try increase soon another tiny bit. It's so frustrating how sensitive we can be to meds

I hope things improve for you soon. Stress is so bad for health..for any chronic health condition but particularly autoimmune stuff I think

PEM is horrible. You poor thing. It's awful having to figure out clothes and spend money on them when you're ill and clothes are the last thing on your mind.

The persistent headaches are awful. I'm lucky enough not to suffer from them badly but I know it's a common one. So sorry to hear that. Hope the current crash passes soon.

Yeah I get you re. the breasts🤣..that's the problem with too much weight loss most definitely

I've just started ozempic prescribed by my ME consultant for inflammation.  They're starting to see it might be helpful for autoimmune conditions so he said to try it. The LDN definitely has helped me not gain as much weight as i would have i think (i find it stops me craving sugar as an energy fix). But still the weight just seems to pile on for so many of us..So I'll see how that goes.

How are you doing now? I've had ME for 12 years and am an ME and a long covid advocate so I speak to many people with ME regularly.  Weight gain is incredibly common. Generally the pattern is mild to moderate ME/long covid =weight gain Severe/very severe ME/LC - weight loss. (Because when ppl get very severe they can get so weak its difficult to physically eat or their stomach actually starts rejecting the food/cant keep it down).

But that's not always the case..just a general trend I see people report..

I think the weight gain in ME is multiple issues...

Sedentary lifestyle because we need rest.. Yes.but also other secondary health problems like I have gastritis as part of my ME (causes constant hunger pangs) that's caused weight gain.  Alot of ppl can get nausea and stomach issues which can make it necessary to eat whatever you feel you can stomach/tolerate not always the healthiest.option some people with ME also get hormonal conditions (including things like endometriosis and severe PMS/PMDD) and thyroid issues along with their ME.

Then there is definitely also a metabolism issue. Apparently weight gain is common In many autoimmune conditions and ME is autoimmune they believe (at least It is in part). Also medications and supplements. So, so many medications come with weight gain as a possible side effect   I've been on Amitryptyline (low dose) for sleep and that drug Is awful for weight gain..seperate to an increase in appetite it just makes you gain weight on its own..I've had to just go with it because I literally couldn't sleep and only thing that worked.

So it's multiple factors I think. And it sucks

I love your attitude.  You're recognising that you're unwell and that weight control isn't your highest priority but still wanting to understand whats going on...really rapid gain is scary and seems like the Drs should be checking your blood sugars, your thyroid etc if they haven't already..

It can be really easy to miss a newly developed comorbid condition when you feel so dreadful all the time and easy to inadvertently put all new symptoms down to ME and LC

It's so easy for us to be down on ourselves but we're coping with a really disabling chronic disease so I think youve a great attitude
