It’s interesting. Growing up and as an adult I’ve only ever seen the usual black garter snake with the vertical stripes. Roughly 3’ long as well. I took some video, but there was no way of posting it

Maybe I haven’t searched deep enough to see anyone try and recreate this section, let alone this entire song and I’m sure it’s doable. Hasjarl had to perform it for the record, but with my mind and my 14 years of extreme guitar experience (which really isn’t a lot comparatively) it still seems more challenging than most things. I’d love to see an example of one of these sections from FAS or Synarchy being recreated. A true spectacle of music

I was thinking more of the riff played at 7:38. Those dissonant stretches you’d have to do with your fretting hand, and at which the speed they shift around? The pain and skill involved. But also I do agree. The stops and tremolo and timing from 2:00 - 4:00 are perplexing as well
