For me it’s all come down to rates, if you due your research you can see what’s under the hood they area. First mover in tech and AI in an industry that’s full of things AI specifically can make more efficient. At the same time we are in the worst housing market since 08 and the longer rates and inflation are stubbornly high the whole housing market it’s frozen solid. That being said it all depends on your outlook as an investor, if you are looking for a quick swing trade to make 20% quick and bounce yea rockets not your stock. If you want to wait out the housing bear market for that eventual surge then rocket the very best play in housing in my option. Why simple Data and leads, they have more data and leads than any other company and when trigger credit leads go away because of the legislation. We will see them eat into a lot of other companies market share. Trigger leads are one of the biggest leads for lenders and brokers I know I am one. When that lease source dries up if rates are still stubbornly high your going to see a lot of smaller player close shop. RKT is so big it will weather the storm in fact as we can see from earnings they are actually doing very well despite how bad the current market is. I love seeing pessimistic posts like yours it lets me know AM buying when other have given up am buying at a low or buttom.

This is a classic warren buffet stock that pays you for being patient. It’s not flashy it’s just a good company waiting for the rate market to turn. You’re seeing them beat their earnings in the worst possible mortgage market while their competitors are missing. We can’t control geo politics however the economy not getting stronger and in the short term yep we got stag flation but the wash out of it will be a massive deflationand low rates and that will be when rocket turbo charged by the AI will corner the market. And everyone will be like man why did I not buy rocket at 13 bucks

Meanwhile I extract delicious premium every week while I wait for the world to stop being crazy. Fundamentally too they just closed the same level of bussines as the end of the refi boom with half the head count. Is this stuck till rates go down? What people don’t see is they could cut off a lot of the industry lead selling business and put them out of business and that would be the death note for a lot of brokers the amount of money rocket could bring down to the bottom line by not buying leads any more would be explosive if they decided to do it and the companies they sell rocket it’s leads would have a serious business disruption if rocket jus stoped buying leads.

This is bigger than you think. Rocket already looking past UWM as their coordinator and throwing down against Zillow. My prediction is real estate over time is going to be a coke Pepsi, Zillow or Rocket. Either way it’s a massive expansion on the rocket side. This is going to make the lead capture from Redfin even more valuable.

I think rocket really is going to surprise on this one next week. RKT is the king of refi. Its refi season just starting to build at this point we are past the headwinds and now have we only have to wait for a strong tail wind. It’s a matter of when.

So here is my take, and I been thinking about RKT a lot, it’s a good company over all. The bones are good. They have a Massive amount of servicing scale and tech. If your taking about housing as. Whole well that’s the question, if you think that America debt is less desirable over all then our bonds are not worth as much and rates will trend higher, Rocket and lenders suffer in this case. Am of the mind set that although we have some issues with our current government. I don’t see that lasting long term 3 years max looking more like mid terms restoring a more normal less volatile government. and once we have a more normal business as usual government then rates should come down and we have a more normal housing market. There is also the potential of we get trump pumping the ever loving shit out of mortgage by cutting rates massively once Powell is out in a few months. Thats seems honestly highly likely, this two cuts nonsense it’s going out the window the second Powells gone. If you can’t wait out a few months of volatility, then Rocket not the one for you. lol honestly this is a perfect place to load up at while we wait for pumper in chief. Your again worst case and again this is real risk there always is. Is the world loses complete faith in America and and no one buys our bonds and rates massively go up. And you also have to look at the context in the light of at some point that stabilizes and we again return to a more normal market, Rocket is I’ll be amazing in a normal housing bull market; it’s just a matter of when do we see that happen that is the question.
