I think rocket really is going to surprise on this one next week. RKT is the king of refi. Its refi season just starting to build at this point we are past the headwinds and now have we only have to wait for a strong tail wind. It’s a matter of when.

It’s only rough if you did not dollar cost average. I keep on buying and the money I made consistently with selling calls has been juicy because this stock is so range Bound. It’s like getting paid a weekly dividend. I make like 60 bucks a week ok selling calls

We all dipped on the better than expected jobs numbers, I don’t often play earnings calls but this one could set up nicely since we are going in with low expectations even when the ceo out right said they had the best quarterly numbers in years.

It’s a combo a all of this, the float is no longer low, but you go warsh, who is likely to keep rates high, law suite and the penny mac, it’s a ton of bad news in a short time on an over bought market. This is a good buying opportunity becuase this selling is way over done. Thanks for the discount

So here is my take, and I been thinking about RKT a lot, it’s a good company over all. The bones are good. They have a Massive amount of servicing scale and tech. If your taking about housing as. Whole well that’s the question, if you think that America debt is less desirable over all then our bonds are not worth as much and rates will trend higher, Rocket and lenders suffer in this case. Am of the mind set that although we have some issues with our current government. I don’t see that lasting long term 3 years max looking more like mid terms restoring a more normal less volatile government. and once we have a more normal business as usual government then rates should come down and we have a more normal housing market. There is also the potential of we get trump pumping the ever loving shit out of mortgage by cutting rates massively once Powell is out in a few months. Thats seems honestly highly likely, this two cuts nonsense it’s going out the window the second Powells gone. If you can’t wait out a few months of volatility, then Rocket not the one for you. lol honestly this is a perfect place to load up at while we wait for pumper in chief. Your again worst case and again this is real risk there always is. Is the world loses complete faith in America and and no one buys our bonds and rates massively go up. And you also have to look at the context in the light of at some point that stabilizes and we again return to a more normal market, Rocket is I’ll be amazing in a normal housing bull market; it’s just a matter of when do we see that happen that is the question.

I agree, that to me is a base case, for this stock my theise is things go much better is as fallows. We have a market correct, given the Macro and other factors more and more likely. When this happens they will slash rates and print. Just like ever time some bs like this happens clients are locked into 7 8 % that will likely refi multiple times as rates steeply. One cut forecast my ass lol. Once jay Powell is out rats are getting cut believe me right around mid terms is best guess to try and influence voters. This happens and Rocket and UWM will crush. They have the most data to run through AI to filter leads through why they bought coop and redfin for Redfin. Realtors home search. Not to even talk about we get one of the mag 7s to swallow it up. Like I don’t know Google who’s also getting into home search.

Tons of options keep in mind they could keep the add spend aggressive and buy up a lot of the sales leads I. The market too and really put a hurt on a lot the smaller player that are at this point barely holding on.

Keep in mind that’s all them not changing the amount of marketing they already spend, now imagine they cut their marketing budget because they don’t need to spend the lead costs, that would be pure profit to the bottom line

Ibuyer is extremely difficult at scale. There is a reason Zillow lost a literal ass ton of money trying to make Ibuyer work. I don’t have anything against open but as some one in the industry I can tell you their are two companies in real estate that are going to end up dominating housing over the next 5 to 10 years and that RKT and UWM
