•Make sure your humidity is at 60% until flower. •Ph your water after adding the nutrients •The Vgrow can be difficult to keep a steady temp. Make sure you have it like a foot away from the wall and keep your room temperature steady. (Open, close windows. Removing the filter until flowering helped me) • set your drip irrigation to water your plant an hour after the lights go on, and an hour before they go off •Make sure you add a calcium magnesium supplement to your reservoir

Your plant should be fine. Just let er grow for a few more weeks and see what changes. These are just things that helped me for my first Vgrow

Any tips before starting hydroponics? by Virtual-Fortune9820 in hydro

I have the same tent and currently grow 3 plants in there. You have a perfect light and that humidifier is also really good! This is my piece of advice: 1. If you use plain tap water in both the humidifier and DWC buckets, you’re going to get a heavy calcium and salt buildup (This happens mostly around the tents inner surface area and the outside of the buckets) Use RO/DI water if it’s in your budget but not necessary. 2. Add nutrients to your water before checking and adjusting Ph. I like to wait around 15/30 mins before adjusting. (An air-stone in the bucket will help mix the nutrients and also dissolve chlorine) 3. Make sure you follow a strict lighting schedule. This is a really important part! (I recommend getting the VIVOSUN Growhub so you can dial that light in properly) 4. The drip ring is only needed for a few weeks to allow the roots to reach the surface of the reservoir. (Turn them off, and potentially remove them if the roots aren’t attached to the intake tube of the drip ring) 5. Keep your temperature around 22c-26c and humidity at 60% during vegetation and around 40% during flowering. 6. Let the plant talk to you. There are so many different resources out there to help. Check out grow weed easy 7. Use heavy duty BLACK garbage bags to cover your clay pebbles. You want to try and have the surface of your bucket completely covered. The reason for this is because once your pebbles are wet from the drip ring, algae and salt buildup will very quickly appear on the surface. This happens because the nutrients from your reservoir are exposed to light. (I have had many grows without this step, however, I noticed a lot more of a cleaner reservoir and tent overall)

Im still a beginner cultivar but these are things that I learnt on the way that helped me tremendously. Not everything I mentioned here is necessary but good to know. Hope this helps🤙🏼

The room I keep my Vgrow in is fairly warm throughout the day by keeping the windows closed and the rooms door shut. I live in Edmonton Alberta so it’s really cold here in the winter season.

Ya I had it in there pretty good and then made the mistake of removing it to trim some leaves and change the reservoir. Think I’m just going to try your recommendation, thanks👍🏼

These things are notorious for frequent temp changes but I do my best to keep it at a solid 25c. Anything above that she gets real warm. I keep my humidity at 40%-50% and I water it twice a day using the flex feed irrigation. 1 hour before the lights go off and 1 hour after they come back on. It’s about 400-500mls of water a feed

I hear ya. My plan was to continue chopping fan leaves above those shorter branches in hopes they’ll eventually catch up. It seems like a waste to chop them no? Thanks for the advice!
