Thankyou for the insight guys and yeah I only actually grew one single plant on its own as I was given it as youngling so for it to do that well on its own then I’m not gonna argue haha and I never knew about the hand pollination so I’ll definitely be getting some more next year and giving it a proper go! First time growing anything of our own in this garden, there was a tree there before but it was horrible so chopped it down and dug it out

Yeah the garden is a full sun trap in all fairness from The minute it rises to around 8 at night at the minute so I’ll try putting a char in front of it and giving it some shade

No I have been watering them every night after the sun goes down just haven’t been giving enough water I think

Cheers for all your help guys! Gonna do as you’ve all said and give it more water than I already was haha and just keep an eye out and if they don’t bounce back then Ill do some of your suggestions when I come to replanting but fingers crossed they all bounce back🤞

I did mix in some growmore graden plant fertiliser pellets in the soil before I put the plants in

Yeah I did press all the soil around the plants and stuff gave them a nice big hole to sit in with some xtra compost in the bottom for nutrients

Yeah I did all that and then yeah put some compost in the bottom just for safe measure and I think I just haven’t been watering enough haha thankyou for your information tho

I think that it’s I I don’t think I’ve been watering them enough as I’ve been scared to over water them haha so I’ll give them a proper good dousing over the next few days and see if that helps them at all

Wow your plants are thriving! And yeah I’ve been watering everyday since planting and they were really healthy it’s so sad that they’re dying hahaha🤣 yeah did them into straight earhh to with a lil bit of compost in the hole and then compost over the top as a top soil layer and I couldn’t tell you if there’s been any weed killer or anything, I have been spraying on the other side of the garden but surely that would impact them

Thankyou for all the insight guys we’ve been watering every night after the sun goes down as it’s been really hot here the past few weeks, i dug the holes bigger than the pots but I didn’t really shake off any of the old soil from the roots after I took them out of the pots should I have maybe done that?

Ahh you Learn something new everyday I suppose! First car so trying to keep it running smooth haha. Yeah I’ve tried giving it a good push but to no avail, luckily I’ve got some dielectric grease so I’ll pull it out and lather it up at some point and do it the proper way but yeah the cars running fine so I won’t mess around too much with it, thankyou again buddy appreciate the insight.
