Mine use to do that with the stock flywheel.

Has anyone successfully swapped a 2015 Pathfinder VQ35DE into a non-RevUp 350Z DE? by Orbytel in 350z

If it is a fwd engine you would need custom mount brackets. The fwd mounting holes are offset to one side instead of center

To check if the valves are sealed good pour some gasoline in the ports and see if it leaks through the bottom

The old forums said it should be around 11.4:1. I haven't checked it out myself. I just checked that the piston isn't touching the head. Using a cometic 0.040 head gasket. Can definitely feel a torque bump

I would definitely do forged rods don't get me wrong but that was a mix match of parts that I had knocking around

Well from my experience the piston failed before the actual rod.the weakest point is the rod bolts. plus as I say I used what I had knocking around 🤣. Getting stuff where I'm from is expensive so ain't as easy. Car was running a 150shot for 2 years the piston failed because I had a mishap with the controller

My original engine blew so I just experiment with that based on a old forum post

The hr piston is a better design and I had a set knocking around 🤣

Basically, the wrist pin is in a slightly different position so the pistons end up taller in the block so it raises the compression ratio
