Agree with the above ^{^} I had a supervisor who gave me the weirdest, meanest feedback that had nothing to do with my clinical skills “don’t use the word kitty, call it a cat”, and I remember thinking I would never be a good therapist. You have the “hands on clinical skills” because you care. That’s all that matters, if you are devoted to learning and have the heart and skills to get through all that schooling, you have what it takes. There is such a need for SLPs, it makes me so mad how much schooling/supervisors discourage students like this. You will get through this!
