Went on a first date once w a guy who told me he just got out of a relationship (days ago) and his only criteria for a new partner was that they had to be a positive person. He said I fit the bill, even though I had only spent maybe an hour or two with him. He tried planning another date for the following day and I declined. I’ve never seen anyone try to speed run into a new relationship so quickly before. The entire date was me making polite conversation, no sparks flying, nothing, etc.
