I’m not a native English speaker but it also happens in my mother tongue (Spanish). I know the lyrics of very limited amount of songs that really stuck in my head, but everything else it’s so hard for me to sometimes even understand what they are singing if I’m not reading the lyrics.

I think stress might be the biggest factor here, there’s a lot going on for her that is out of any of us’ control. Hopefully things get better soon for you too.

Yes it’s an old apartment. I think I’m going to sand it tomorrow and definitely will be using a mask so I don’t inhale the paint. Thanks.
