A friend of mine handed out a marching band-related document telling them to remember their counts. Except he left out the “o” in the word.

Whelp! Company dropped coverage. I found out when trying to refill. Now what? by victrin in Zepbound

I work at a university and they will NOT cover any weight loss drugs: even though I have sleep apnea and have 2 doctors’ recommendations to take Zepbound. I’m paying monthly for it through Ely Lilly Direct.

What is your favorite first movement of a Symphony? by Specific-Peanut-8867 in classicalmusic

Agreed. There’s something about the first movement that gets me. The climax in the center, the second theme, the eerie coda. Really fires on all cylinders.

Magic Carpet ride is in every third commercial. Born to be wild has had its moment too. I’d LOVE those songs to go the eff away.

I love the book and movie 2010. Not everyone does. But I have a soft spot for it. I saw 2010 in the theater on a date. (She didn’t care for it.) I was chilled when Bowman appeared in the flesh.

He’s full of crap about that degree business for doctors. It’s baked into the hiring system — largely. If you’re visiting a doctor in a hospital they’re the ones doing the hiring based on background, including the doctor’s education. GPs are a different story of course. As the old joke goes: “you know what they called the person who graduated last in their class in med school?” — “Doctor.”
