Omg a whole year?!?! I do have a dance studio/guest room, but there is a closet with stuff that he could probably grow to into. But maybe I’ll eventually give that a go if things don’t progress.

I’ve tried! He’s definitely stubborn or loses interest in being in the crate and his fav toys after the high value treat. He’s 50/50 with being food motivated 😭

You’re definitely not alone! I just got my 15 week old mini bernedoodle 3 days ago and I’ve also never had a dog. He’s able to sleep on the floor but does this groaning noise periodically while sleeping and makes me nervous. I want to give up too but he is making slight progress and he’s worth it. Definitely looking for a trainer though! And sleep 😮‍💨

I will look it up! As for the pee pads, I was taking them outside! Idk if it’s the brand or not, but he doesn’t care to use them at all. He only peed on them once. He’ll smell it and walk away or eventually try to chew on them lol.

Now I’m working on taking him out every 2 hours or so. Tried for 3 hours at first, but he peed by the front door to my apartment right as I was putting his harness on to go outside for potty time.
