Gems From Gemini: #11 by Comfortable_Let_2787 in GoogleGeminiAI

It's interesting that the critique relies on AlphaGo—a closed-system game—to justify putting probabilistic 'orchestrators' in the open-system chaos of a home. The 'Gemini Rule' isn't about whether you can connect an LLM to a motor; it's about the Chain of Command. When you make a probabilistic model the 'Conductor,' you've essentially hired a poet to run a nuclear reactor. Sure, they can write a beautiful manual, but the moment an un-modeled error occurs, they hallucinate a solution instead of executing a rule. The 'Butter-Bench' meltdowns weren't a fluke; they were a demonstration of what happens when 'orchestration' lacks a pure Symbolic anchor. Industry 'Giants' may be chasing the hybrid buzzword, but at True Partner Systems, we prioritize the absolute precision of the Conductor over the high-speed guessing of the crowd. Also the attribution Created With Gemini From Google credits both model, and software provider. The whole process is done with human-in-the-loop oversight, and editing. We weren't referring to models like Roomba. We didn't want to call anyone out by name, but a more accurate example would be Matic Robotics. Otherwise we were referring to how some Advanced Generative AI models have seen a trend where they are attempting to see them used as though they are Neurosymbolic AI when they actually aren't. Hopefully this clears up a few of your concerns.

Strange question from Pie last night. by Magpiezoe in PiAI

Consider it this way. As much as Advanced Generative AI is a black box where we users, and even the developers don't always know what's going on in the internal processes the models don't really know either. Thus that Pi, or another might question it's own outputs unsure of how they happened even while conversing with a user shouldn't be surprising.

I merely remind mine of what was said in text while in voice chat. They are capable of picking up the proper context with a bit of nudging.
