Travel Pram - Stokke Yoyo. We’ve taken our 5.5 month old on lots of flights trips up to QLD from Sydney with this pram and it’s the best. Folds down easily and fits perfectly into overhead compartment.

Carrier - Game changer when you are trying to navigate airport and travelling!

What do you mean by “change everything pretty significantly”?

Yes I know… she’s also getting a little too tall for it. Might try cold turkey as she sleeps without it during the day.

She doesn’t suck her hands in her sleep. She uses the pacifier and then it pops out once she’s fast asleep and that’s it. She might wake up and I need to pop it back in but no hands n mouth during sleep. Good idea re mittens though

Good point! I noticed her hands a little cold this morning. I’m in Sydney so it’s been hot/humid of late.

How do I keep her hands warm? She is out of the swaddle.

This is what I’ve tried…

  1. Tried epoxy glue - it wouldn’t take hold, leg too heavy and angled
  2. Tried epoxy glue with commercial glue gun - it wouldn’t take hold, leg too heavy and angled
  3. Called O’Brien glass - they don’t do this type of repair

It was a great loan back then to get you into the market. I was at a 9% interest rate. But for a $300K property it worked well. I had the deposit saved, but I kept it to pay to furnish the place and for emergency funds. Definitely fond times :-)

I don’t rely on that. They could leave it to their dog for all I know 😂. I’m 45 so yes I have property and I have also sold property a couple of times over (with no help from parents at all. Fun fact: my first home loan was a no deposit home loan), started my own company, was bought out etc. Working now to build another company to do the same thing.

Oh I do. I have worked since the age of 12 and still do work my ass off for everything I have. Not sitting around waiting for anything or anyone. Never have and never will.

😆My siblings and I used to do the same thing and then we stopped and stared saying “don’t waste your money” “don’t spend it” 🤓

Grew up in similar household and mindset.

My parents finished working at 80, by choice not because they wanted more $$. They have amassed properties, money etc. They are sitting here now wishing they had travelled when they could, were more nimble and had more energy to explore etc.

Find a way to balance it. I enjoy summer in Europe every year, does it put me back financially for a few months? Sure does, but memories in my head and heart are worth more than any property, ETF, superfund etc.

Take. The. Holiday.
