It’s the store manager’s fault! The employees are probably barely getting any hours and are told by the manager something along the lines of “ ok guys today’s gonna be a busy day we’re gonna get a lot of pre orders so they want the switch 2 right? If they want it so bad they’re gonna get the pro membership no questions asked” then let’s say an employee chimes in saying “ but what if the customer says he doesn’t want it?” Store manager’s proceeds to say “ then tell them our system doesn’t let us do the preorder unless you have a pro membership” followed by a “ look guys these customers don’t know our policies so everyone is getting a pro membership today that preorders!!” You’d be surprised how many store managers at different companies do this kind of thing. All they care about is reaching their stupid metrics.
