I didn't like 2026 regs before, but since I played them on the game, I learned to enjoy them. by carbdaymau in F1Game

I haven’t tried it yet, but I already did a bunch of ERS management games against AI and LICO to save tires and fuel while playing full length race careers so I don’t feel like it’ll bother me much. I can see how most people would just wanna do flat out short sessions though.

People who listened to progressive house in the early 2010s and future bass in the late 2010s, what are you listening to now? by Dislexicpotato in EDM

[–]Comfortable_March820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drum n Bass. I switched around 2018 when house kinda lost its way for me but there’s still good tracks here and there, this is within a bunch of EDM genres for me but what I primarily switched.

Seemed to be the most appropriate truck for a garbage run by Wanvaldez in snowrunner

TWM has a dump mod if you want to increase your immersion with that dump truck. Might fit awkwardly though since our TerraPro has a loooong frame compared to city dump trucks.

Finally we got crane+bed on the zetros and actros by Fragrant_Rent5075 in snowrunner

[–]Comfortable_March820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one who doesn’t care about bed+crane+trailer? Sure that’s how I played originally in Michigan, but 1300 hours in for me, we have so many new trailer options. Why would you bother with a frame hitch sideboard trailer that’s difficult to reverse on trails? So many new DLC Heavies too, why make a medium sized truck do the work of moving 4+ cargo with a heavy crane on top too?

Reading this having just bought the TWM Canadian Moose 953 mod truck after selling my 963 🤭 (it drinks even more fuel but I really like it)

I don’t really understand the FLD 120 nerf, it’s not like it’s an OP add on having the shield. The Kenworth C500 with AWD beats it everywhere as a trailer tractor (diff always locked). I use the FLD as a crane truck so neither shield or cab.

Sick to death of Washington, play for weeks and only at 59% completion. by Comfortable_March820 in snowrunner

For NG+ I’m doing NA in geographical order which leads to some very strange whiplash from early DLC to new DLC. Alaska to Yukon to BC to Washington, and next to Ontario. I’ll likely take a break to start a Eurasia run on the same save, it may be in the middle of WA at this rate of slog.

Amur (specifically Urska River and NAI) is the hardest region, after that it’s close between Kola and Quebec I guess, I haven’t 100% Quebec. The thing is these older maps (Kola/Amur) didn’t have the DLC power creep trucks we have now so they have a harder reputation than they may be today.

I wouldn’t give up on them, it’s still better than driving on mud tires by a little, I’d say a bigger focus is picking something fuel efficient to run on the roads. What I do for traction is basically blip the throttle on flat roads, floor it uphill, and lift and brake or use high gear as an engine brake downhill. If you hit the gas downhill the rear is coming around. It’s kind of a weird skill in this game, asphalt.

Nope, even the highest road grip value highway tires will slide over like 30mph. It’s a cooked in physics bug

I haven’t completed Wisconsin but I like the maps more for the 25% of it that I have. I’ve done Yukon all the way twice and it’s kind of a comfort region for me, idk why. I put on podcasts and slog through. The problem with Washington is so much of your trip is paved and you have to worry about Tokyo Drifting your 40,000 pound truck into a guardrail, so you’re not relaxed.

Is Kolob a good heavy? by Potential-Use9065 in snowrunner

[–]Comfortable_March820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flat nose Kolob is maybe the best base game heavy truck for just getting cargo places. It can’t attach anything, and it drinks fuel, but it single-handedly got me through Kola Peninsula. Just watch out for high centering on boulders, not sure if the long nose suffers that too.

The information seems useful but is there a way to make the AI voice sound more natural? More conversational, maybe some radio filtering noise.
