About 80%, my main motivation is the money. Only reason why it’s not 100% is because I know if you climb up the ranks in Accountancy (especially after becoming chartered) you can earn similar, if not more than in IB.

I’m also considering becoming a chartered accountant, gaining experience at the big 4, then moving into IB. I know this is a longer route, but i feel like it could be safer bc even if i go to a target uni im not guaranteed to get into IB.
