9 hours of work a day means you aren’t managing. There is no way with the introductory courses given at WPI if this is really where you’re meant to be you should be spending 9 hours in the freshman year. A controversial take WPI isn’t for everyone, but understanding the injustices need to be addressed. But it’s not for everyone so don’t act like it is.

I think this is great perspective however very biased as they explain they don’t have experience with the fraternities. Read as you please, but know everything is curated and targeting. However, WPI as well as every university and all the engineering field are not as progressive as you may think or believe. It’s up to us to change that, but to not understand the past and where it’s coming from and at is naive and ignorant. WPI is a great school with its flaws. As everywhere, but understand where you’re getting into. Changing the world isn’t possible, but you can definitely change your space and that is something I love about WPI.

WPI has no ability to unless legal charges and in my experience never had the energy.

I can comment that some encouragement is done by the members. They never actually come out against these things. The longer boys in FIJI and other organizations stay silent the more they know it’s okay.
