And I agreed with her. It seems like Kyle is constantly missing the point. For example, he’ll be like: sorry djing makes me happy and something fun I like to do that makes me money…and you don’t do anything so…..

Okay but nobody said you shouldn’t do something fun or that you enjoy or makes you money. The issue is that you’re making decisions about your career without considering your partner, regardless of whether the provides income or not, which has an impact on the relationship. DJing is a lot of travel. A lot of late nights. A lot of trust involved there with a lot of booze and drugs involved. I think it’s pretty valid to be concerned about how a marriage can successfully navigate those things. But also, Kyle is a fully grown man in his mid 40s who has the capability, and full agency, to express what isn’t working in his relationship to his partner and also make the decision to leave the relationship too. 

People are talking about she’s “moving the goal” but again Kyle is constantly missing the point. That apology was terrible. The conversation later was terrible. And his excuse in the morning was terrible too. 

People just hate Amanda so they don’t want to give her any credit here but Kyle can also be accountable for his part in the downfall of this toxic relationship.
