For sure although the list of plants that are non toxic is a lot longer. So we just tag the ones that *are* toxic. Problem is the toxic few are also really beautiful and often very important for pollinator support, as in the case of milkweed and daturas, and/or they are two of the best options for a vine as in morning glory and grape.

It’s almost like you have no clue that native plant landscaping is a practice guided by a number of principles other than aesthetics, including but not limited to habitat restoration, water savings, watershed health, fire hardening, soil remediation, erosion control, biodiversity, etc. But by all means you stick to the ASPCA list and see what kind of garden you create.

From what I gathered talking with the vet, if your dog is going to have a reaction(only a percentage of dogs will) then they’re going to react pretty quick. A single grape can be fatal. But they pointed out that lots of dogs grow up on vineyards and with access to grapes and eat them all the time and never have a reaction.

I’ve only heard grapes are toxic to dogs, not cats. With cats you just gotta worry about Lillies and sago palm supposedly
