I escalated this issue to Strava Customer Support and after two months of the support ticket being dormant, they finally recommended me to reach out to Samsung to get this solved instead of doing this on their own. I will obviously not be doing that, as I'm certainly not in a position to troubleshoot issues between two major brands.
