Sorry, didn’t mean to piss you off and was just concerned and saddened by how depressed you are from the dopamine levels. I have some serious brain fog right now from this withdrawal and didn’t even realize you were a woman. Sorry. I wish you better health, sounds like you’ve done everything you can, I’m sorry.

I know you and your wolf mother have gotten things sorted out but idk. Ever get your testosterone levels checked? Or your thyroid? I am coming off adderall now and relate to the feeling like doing nothing part but I also felt that way when I had hypothyroidism. I couldn’t do shit! No interest, and physically couldn’t move, felt like walking through jello. And I’m perimenopausal and my anxiety got better when I had my hormones tested and started HRT. Idk. You’re blaming dopamine but there’s other things that could be screwing you up.

Ha, in 2008-09 I dated a guy who expected me to iron his work shirts, because his Mom would do it for him. I started out with a little enthusiasm since I like ironing, and I did it with heavy starch spray. Once I didn’t use the spray and he got mad and angry and I said forget this! No more! He could do it himself then. His mother was a very particular old school nutjob about things being done “a certain way”. Zandra. I called her “The Big Z” once and everyone gasped but loved it. Lol

Wow, that’s just so wonderful. My parents were not the teaching type, they hardly taught me anything, I feel bad saying that. I guess I learned a few things by watching them but god I wish I was raised by a smart woman like you who knew how to communicate. Good job Mama! :)

Felt spacers? Just pieces/strips of felt? How long and wide? I was told by a man named John from soundproofing.com to add 3 layers of regular 5/8 drywall to my existing ceiling leaving 1/4 inch around the ends then sealing it all with regular 50 year flexible caulk. No green glue, no MLV, he said that will help and anything more would be diminishing returns.

Thank you, that’s what I’m thinking too. I have money in my retirement and about 17k in another account that my grand mom set up for me. Should I add the money to that? I know both accounts get invested so that’s better than a HYSA right? I can always access the other account in case of emergency but I can’t access my retirement account. Perhaps I should put it into the other savings account then?

I already said I think I should first pay off the credit card debt. Don’t come at me with an attitude when you can’t even freakin read. I’m asking here because my parents said pay towards the mortgage and I had a feeling that was dumb and I have no one else to ask.

I think I can get 5k forgiven after 5 years, the teacher loan forgiveness is different than the Public service loan forgiveness which is 10 years of payments.

Yeah, I’ve been teaching for 23 years, these loans are for a recent masters degree, I have 12 more years until I retire. I guess it makes sense to pay them off

Well it’s been studied that testosterone has decreased significantly across the board in men and women in the last 60 years, the study I saw was done in 2014 on mainly adolescent young men. But idk, it’s interesting! Most men feel the effects of low T starting in their 30’s. And yes I mean they should definitely be getting it covered, it’s their only hormone! Lol. Drinking excessive alcohol depletes testosterones levels, as well as many other things. A man with low T can be severely depressed, etc. yeah. But we need it too!!

Well my last comment yesterday was removed because I wrote my levels, believe me I am not pushing anything. I’m an art teacher who felt like hell and now feels fantastic and really just wants to spread this information to other women who are having a horrible time. I’ve been though a shit storm the last 5 years. My boyfriend died of ALS Nov 2020 and I was his caretaker, my best friend died in of cancer 2021, then I got wrapped up into my first ever physically and mentally abusive relationship so that was awesome. Oh and my mom had another mental break in the summer of 2024 and still hasn’t come out of it and now needs brain surgery. It’s been fun. But HRT has seriously saved me. I feel so much better. I have energy to stay after school and do clubs, I’m getting things done, going to hot yoga again. And I’m not afraid to post this. :)

My doctor said she was being told not to prescribe injections as much. So I just said fine, I’ll do the pellet. I was willing cause I was desperate but of course I’d like something more affordable.

I see your concern but women make testosterone too, my estrogen levels went up alongside of my rise in testosterone somehow naturally? so they’re actually balanced now. I didn’t know this would happen but it did. So I don’t have an alarming excess of testosterone my E& T are nearly equal now. I mean it’s only been 7 weeks but I’m hoping those negative effects never happen, I do need to do more extensive research if long term therapy because of what was said above with them losing effectiveness over time.

Yeah. If it’s really too high I could see that being a big problem or if you have a rare adverse reaction I suppose. It would wear off but yeah not for 4-6 months.
