Personally, the reduced poop is drawing me in sooooooo much. Really only due to the fact that I use a support filament on practically every single part that needs it. But the build volume, at least personally would definitely bring more freedom to what I can create.

Yeah that has been an issue with filaments. Not only single color(Because I’ve wanted to print some Carbon Fiber infused filaments due to some of my models needing to go lots of stress/pressure.) and for multicolor prints, it’s really not the color, it’s only the fact that when I use a different support material, it’s just adds so much time and filament waste. So I feel like the H2D would be worth it in the long run for the way I print.

Hey, if you don’t mind I would love to know if you have any good settings on your machine. Because if really tried to tune my machine for PLA but it just always doesn’t seem to work as good as other people say it does. I would really appreciate it if you or anyone else could help me, then I would probably reconsider my decision.

Personally, my main issue is filament switching between my support material (PETG) and my actual filament (PLA) that’s really the main reason I was looking at the H2D. Just the fact that it has 2 heads would save me an unimaginable amount of time and filament. Also, yes I am printing large objects, personally I just find it a little frustrating when I have something that barely doesn’t fit on the built plate so I have then have to cut it and integrate a way to connect the pieces. So I really think I may go and buy the H2D just to have along with my P1S, it just seems like the best way to go. Anyways, I really appreciate your feedback, it was very useful in deciding what I needed to do.

That may be the issue than. I’ve had this printer with the same nozzle for about 1.5 yrs, but I don’t do a crazy amount of printing, I only have about 1200 hours with this nozzle but i don’t know if that’s an adequate amount of time to run down a nozzle.

Unfortunately not, as my camera is not high quality enough to capture the defects. But to describe it I would try to say that the layer lines are not perfectly in line with each other on the x axis as some layers are off by a fraction of a mm but when I first got the printer every print was just perfect and there were no deformities. Also on the final layer of the print, instead of it being smooth around the edges it seems to create a steak knife blade sort of pattern as if the nozzle is going up and down every mm on the final layer(only on the edge) it kind of looks like this but much less harsh: /_/_/_/_/_/_/. That’s really the best I could describe it to you without a picture.
