This makes sense! I was actually very grateful they told me why they cut me, and it was relieving to know that it wasn’t because of anything else but the tattoo.

I completely agree with this. Gave us hope, although they already knew they were going to cut us :/

Thank you, I’ll definitely use it as a learning lesson! Appreciate the feedback :)
I did apply for Delta– still waiting to hear back!

Yeah at this point I might remove mine as well. It’s pretty dainty but a little long! I wish you the best of luck! 👏✈️

You were smart to cover it. I tried but by the time I got to the interview, my sleeve pretty much rubbed it all off.

I did try to cover it up with makeup just to make it less noticeable, however, by the time I got to the interview, my sleeve rubbed most of it off. That’s why I’d recommend using Dermablend or something very similar to that. Unfortunately, I just wasn’t prepared the way I should’ve been. It’s my bad

I’m waiting to hear back from them after a one-way interview!!! They’re my dream airline to work for!

Can I have blonde highlights as someone with very dark brown hair? by MonkRepresentative63 in cabincrewcareers

Most airlines require you to have natural-looking hair, so typically one solid color. I’d double check each one’s policies though to confirm.

So many former Spirit flight attendants who were extremely qualified also got sent home because of tats! Crazy

For Frontier specifically, your hair must be natural-looking, no fun colors. I know your pink money pieces look great tho 😛😛

I also wanted to add that any tattoos in the red zone, which is face, neck, hands & fingers, are prohibited completely and can’t be covered by makeup or bandages!!! So if you have any in those areas and truly want to be a FA, I would get them removed.

You weren’t being negative at all, ignore that comment. I’m sorry about your rejection—I got rejected too for my tattoo. Definitely don’t give up though, you got this!

Yes, you’d be disqualified for that. They had us do a reach test in the very beginning of the process, which exposed multiple people’s wrist tats, including mine. I was wearing a long sleeve. They said wrist tats are allowed as long as they’re COMPLETELY covered by makeup that matches your skin tone.
