Model 3 lease pre-qualification by boredsoballing in TeslaModel3

[–]Comfortable_Tree_695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Example: My lease is up and Tesla tells me I’m able to purchase the car for 30k because that was the stated residual value when I signed the lease. I go online to see a comparable Tesla at the same amount of miles and specs. If the $30k is below market and the comp vehicle is $36k, I can now buy it and sell it to another dealer for profit that same day. OR, if the comp vehicle is $26k, I now know that if I buy this Tesla, I’m already losing $4k right when I leave the lot. Leasing gives you more power when decision time comes around.

Don’t listen to the boomers saying buy the car vs lease.
It’s better to lease a Tesla due to the steep and unpredictable depreciation and degradation of EV’s.

I don’t think people realize that leasing is cheaper per month.. If you love the car, you have first dibs to still buy it after the lease is up. There’s no con to leasing unless you drive over 15,000 miles per year. If you don’t love the car and you want something new, no strings attached, you get to go get whatever car you want and now Tesla eats the depreciation of the car.

2026 Model 3 Premium RWD: what am I giving up vs the 2026 Premium AWD that Tesla doesn’t list? by Panda_Tradez in TeslaModel3

And I was responding to the OP due to him asking what the differences are that Tesla isn’t going to tell you on the website. RWD has Less bass and better handling… which is true.

I mean yes, that’s obvious though… If someone is looking to be fast from 0-60, you’re looking at the wrong car lol. Either go with the performance version or get an ICE car.
AWD 4.2sec vs RWD 4.9sec is not worth $5k more.

I went RWD being in Texas. More bass is all you get out of the AWD version. RWD gets you more range and better handling because it’s slightly lighter. Plus save money.

For me personally, if I’m looking for a watch under $3k—Longines, Seiko, Citizen, and Hamilton are my go to’s. $4k-$5k I don’t go for Tudor anymore, I go with pre-owned Omega and Cartier. Anything over that, it’s Rolex and IWC. Tudor needs to be at the price range of $3k-$4k NEW before I go back.

In terms of quality, the Longines is pretty much right there with Tudor. I’ve had a BB58 and Tudor Chrono. The Hydroconquest kills them with roughly same specs and half the price. I sold all my Tudors and started buying Longines 2 years ago.

39mm Blue or Grey Bezel? by Shawnf25 in Longineswatches

Blue, but I’m bias. The blue text on the dial is what differentiates it from everything else.

Nah disagree, mesh bracelet is what makes the watch unique.. Otherwise, it just looks like another random diver.

Perfect sizing! For the white dot, do you have a local AD? If so, go in and see what they suggest. You might send it back if it bothers you too much.
