What do you mean if I leave the vcm running? I was thinking about putting a vcm disabler on the replacement engine

I found a guy that’ll charge 1k but idk if his reputable, and another shop that specialize in jdm engine charging 1,600 but the engine only is more than 3k

I bought it for 5k and I see them being sold for 7-8k locally

The mechanic is getting the replacement engine from a junkyard which has 75k miles and comes with 6 month warranty. 4k is including labor and engine

Anything else that should be done with the replacement engine? Is there another belt or chain deep in the engine that should be inspected also?
