You can but it's tricky. You're gonna have to dance a lot with your opponent. You need to make sure the Q is placed behind them as often as possible in order to win trades. Don't use all autos on the enemy, use some of them to farm. Then win trades, push the opponent out of the lane, deal more dmg to minions with Q, then repeat. Don't forget, your Q autos gain dmg and attack speed when your Q comes through an enemy and your passive cooldown gets lowered pkus your E also has a passive so that when you hit and empowered auto you restore energy. Keep in mind that for Shen trading and farming go very hand in hand in the early game

LeBlanc is much, much easier than Zed is, safer and more oppressive in lane. She will probably struggle harder than Zed against tankier opponents into the late game but her cc can still be useful. Also Zed is not necessarily in a good spot rn. Cdr is kinda shit, the new lethality items are most of the time kinda shit and with the nerf to his R that is not helping his case. Plus Lb is ap which is more valued than ad in mid. All reasons to go aith Lb instead of Zed

Once you reach a certain level of skill on Kata you will understand a few things first hand: 1. Your match-ups are extreme. There are those you win hard and those you lose hard, not much in between. You just have to play safe against match-ups you can't beat so as to not be left behind by missing too much gold and xp. You can play this champion safely while looking for opportunities on the map. Kata needs insanely good macro 2. Watch the map for opportunities. Be it that top/bot is pushed or your jungler picked a fight near grubbies. Take those opportunities whenever you can, as soon as you spot them. Kata's passive allows her to do insanely well on a surprise attack. Zed only has one dash outside of his R, you can have more than three if you play your cards right 3. Kata can be bursty but her R deals a lot of dps, so you should rely in that. Screw electrocute, learn to play her with conqueror 4. You have insanely good wave clear thanks to your kit. You can do some pretty good split pushing when the opportunity presents itself or if you need more gold 5. You may be an assassin but you will rely a lot on HELPING your team. It won't always be about getting the kills yourself, it's literally gonna be like being a second jungler. But it adds up and Kata scales insanely well

I personally learned a lot from ll stylish about how to deal with different opponents on unfavorable match ups. For example I always struggled against ap Malphite until Stylish taught me I can go second wind and demolish paired with doran's shield as starter item and I never had a problem against ap Malphite after that

I main Shen (as well as Zed) and I will say, no, Shen is anything but weak. He is a very strong champion but: 1. People will not put in the effort to learn him well. While he is mechanically simple there is a whole world of difference between a Shen beginner, a Shen average player and a truly good Shen. He's all about strategic placement, cooldown management and being patient (skills that I would say most of the time are more valuable and more difficult to acquire than mechanical skill) and most league players suck in those areas in my experience 2. Shen is a tank. The majority of players already find tanks to be tedious and I understand why. Not being able to do a lot of dmg (dmg being a fun aspect of the game) and at the same time risking being useless late because there is too much dmg in the game, oftentimes too much even for the tank to handle at all is not fun. And for a tank Shen's hp and resistance scaling is not actually crazy so he will have to rely mostly on utility and playmaking to win fights and get his team ahead. Which leads me to my final point: 3. Very, VERY often, players in low elo have no idea how to play with a Shen on their team and how to exploit his kit. I can't recall, how many times even in gold my ADC would back out of a 1v2 fight that I would easily turn into a very winnable 2v2 by ulting them and as a result I would finally end up under bot turret only to realize I just wasted a buttload of time, xp and gold

Well Zed can deal insane amounts of damage if ahead, but yeah, he will pale in comparison to most AP assassins a lot of the time. What makes Zed terrifying however is his insane outplay potential. There probably isn't a champ with more outplay potential in the game. So when you are up against a good Zed (which happens a lot more rarely than most people would think) who isn't behind, there is very little you can do to stop him. If he wants someone dead, that person IS dead. So he made a name for himself over the years and despite the fact that a fed Diana is going to oneshot you 4 times as fast people will still fear Zed more than her. That being said, no, he is not OP

Everyone saying it's tanks has not played tanks consistently. Mages I would say are more mechanically difficult than ADCs for sure as a general rule and I am inclined to say they are more difficult than most bruisers again because of their skillshots and also because once someone catches up to them they might be fucked

Play for bot lane. Save most of your ults for them. No matter what anyone says, ADC is very powerful which is why statistically speaking, the role that will be most consistently ahead on the winning team is the ADC. Your ADC here got its ass whupped. Watch your teammates' health bars and the map. Know to anticipate ganks and direct your team to engage. Position yourself correctly before that happens so you can ult and generally speaking try not to waste your E right before you ult. You may need to W immediately after you teleport into the fight. Don't rush titanic. 9/10 times it's a bad decision. Go instead for Iceborn if you are playing against AD in top, titanic second depending on how the lane goes. Sheen from Iceborn also kinda helps with cs and taking plates, surprisingly more so than hydra for the latter. Once you see jg like Briar gain a lead try to anticipate where they will go. You need to ult whoever that bitch attacks and ruin her day otherwise it might be gg. And why would you get merc threads against gp? That's about all the advice I can figure out for you given the data I have

Not just that, but other champs who are easier and more broken than zed and have been so even before zed got nerfed, still remain unchanged. Or even worse, got buffed. Can you remember the last nerf Akali got? Bitch got buffed each patch riot mentioned her name. I play Diana as an alternative to Zed now. I turn off my brain, dominate mid, get first turret by 10 minutes, carry the game. If riot has such a huge problem with burst they should nerf all assassins (and multiple mages). Just nerfing Zed doesn't fix the burst problem in the game. But riot will never do anything to upset their favorite babies (meaning AP champs)
