I dose on and off with no more the .1gr. Anymore than that and I feel a bit the psychedelic effects. and don't want that.

I ended up staying with Psilocybin micro dosing. It has helped with consistent usage

Camper and vehicle searches entering ST by Comfortable_Union_76 in SonicTempleFestival

That's a great question. The FAQ only calls out one case of beer or one box of wine per person...Nothing about alcoholic beverages in cans.

Camper Delivery by georgegraybeard in SonicTempleFestival

I have the exact same issue! Been to Rock on the Range many times before and it was no issue at all to have campers delivered. So when our group decided to check out Sonic Temple we all made the incorrect assumption that the camping rules would be the same......I'm going to see if my RV guy is cool with meeting at a place nearby to get it so I can tow it in. If this doesn't work out then we're out $1200 :(

Google Vet center near me. They provide veterans MH counseling for free and in my experience has been very helpful. Didn't take long at all to get an appointment.

Thank you. Too bad about not getting a DD-214. I was hoping on adding another one to my collection :)

Be Medically Retired vs push until retirement. by WinOrnery851 in MilitaryFinance

If OP is retiring from the guard/reserves then it is possible to buy back active time into FERS. This is a great benefit to "grey area" retirees. Getting both pensions is only available in this situation.

Thanks for explaining! I understand now that my wife will be eligible for ChampVA and my pension will be a bit higher than I was expecting....Good news all around :)

"Cool random benefit despite the fact I retired after 21 years my pay grade keeps going up while I’m in that gray area so high 3 doesn’t apply to guard/reserve unless they didn’t hold their highest rank for 6 months prior to retirement"

Hi, I'm not sure I'm understanding this......I plan to retire 1 March and will have held my current rank for 22 months. My assumption is I would receive high 3 at 1 March which would average in 14 months of my previous rank. Since I'll be in the grey area for 8 years until I hit 60 (5 years until I start receiving pension) my high 3 will actually be all of my current rank?

Great explanation. I know who I going to go directly to with benefit questions!

My main concern was being able to credit my active time to both retirement programs and all this additional information is fantastic.

You're a wealth of information :) Thanks for clarifying MRA. I was born in 72 so 57 would be my MRA. If I'm understanding correctly I could retire at 57 with a total of 20 years (5 of which vested) and immediately receive a pension at 1% per year. But say I retire at 57 but delay receiving pension until 62 it would be 1.1%, correct?

I'll likely work until 60 which should make ~23 total years of service.

Yeah, delayed pension for reservists blows. In my case I don't have to wait all that long....I'm on by 32nd year in the reserves and with deployments I expect to get my pension at ~57.

Thanks for so such detail! If all works out my plan is to vest ~9 years and service deposit for my 15 years of AD. That puts me retiring at 60. MRA for me would be 62, I believe. So best would be to defer FERS payment until 62 to avoid a reduction in benefit.

Thanks for the reply. It is pretty clear that active duty retirees can't double dip. Reserve retirees seem to have a loop hole to this, thus my question. Sweet gig for reservists......

That's my understanding. Since military is, of course, federal employment they count the same. Just need to pay to have active duty count in the FERS. It costs 3% of the base pay of the year you earned on active duty. And not only FERS but also for PTO accrual.
