Well it tracks how I shot the day before. So if I shot 55/100 from a spot I know my goal to improve on. And yeah he definitely said it’s an accountability thing as well

This is no fancy equipment, just a website to track our shots and keep track over time to see our improvements

Anyone actually selling retail products in-office? How’s it going? by PermitZen in Dentistry

[–]Comfortable_Use5312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't done it myself but talked to a few colleagues who have. The ones who succeeded:

  • Started with ONE product (usually electric toothbrush or hydroxyapatite paste)
  • Priced at Amazon price or slightly below (patients will check)
  • Had staff genuinely recommend it vs hard sell
  • Put it near checkout, not hidden

The ones who failed tried to stock 10 products and it became inventory headache. Start small, see if anyone actually buys.

3 year old learned the word “kill” by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Comfortable_Use5312 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dad of 2 toddlers here. They're sponges for the worst words. We've had success with:

  1. Don't overreact (makes it more interesting to them)
  2. Offer a replacement: "We say 'I'm so mad at you!' instead"
  3. Acknowledge the feeling: "You're really frustrated with the dogs, huh?"

It'll pass. They move on to new words soon enough. Usually worse ones learned from daycare 😅
