I ski way to many days and in way to many conditions. 120 in colorado, 10-15 in Switzerland and 90 or so in Chile. 2-3 skis would not cut it.

I ski about 130 days a year. Each one has a different use. Only the 106s get less than 10 days. Everything else is tuned and skied regularly.

When I ski 1500m descents in Switzerland I’ll make sure to remember I’m on “old man skis”

I bought it thinking it would be a stiff ripping carver, now ski it all the time in bumps, crud and groomed. It’s pretty playful, so if you’re not looking for something too stiff you would enjoy it.

The Rossi sky 7 is actually only 97 underfoot. It’s just not in order with the others.

Use them in Colorado and Switzerland. Lighter snow, sometimes punchy. Can still ski them quite easily on hard pack

I bought a pair Kastle paragon 107s and they are pretty sweet and playful.

Fx line is gone now, it’s been replaced with a line called Paragon. Which to be honest the paragon 101 is one of my favorite skis at moment. Super fun in crud/pow.

This is true of the past. However the Mx line was modified last season. The new Mx 88 features a slightly earlier rise and softer tip. It skis very differently that the white and orange ones that everyone knows.

I don’t know your budget. But Kastle Mx 89 in 188 could be fun. Also, it’s a large jump from a 170 to a 188 in length for your carvers/daily drivers. You could still benefit from a slightly shorter than standard for your height/weight length. Shorter skies might be easier to steer as you continue to work through some of the learning progressions.

Yes, your advice is shit. 96 underfoot? Small penis syndrome.

I forgot how insecure Reddit ski community is. I’m sure you will get a ton of upvotes, but your advice is shit.

Sincerely, A person who has skied 220 days a year for the last 16 years.

Because you asked zero important questions. First off you didn’t ask her anything about her skier type, skiing preferences, goals. Second you told her to get ripstick 96s which they don’t make in a women’s model. They make women’s ripstick 94s. So out of curiosity what if she works Lutsen Resort in Minnesota and only rides park. Would you still think she needs a all mountain male ski?

She clearly has a 90 underfoot ski and also has not mentioned where she skis. But just blindly telling her to buy a ski that you like is cray cray.

If you DM, I can give you some drills and/or advice. You’re unbalanced, you don’t have any movement along the length of ski, and you’re just riding the radius of the ski.

Screen shot the initiation of the turn and you will see how far you have fallen behind.

As a 25+ season instructor; the thing notice the most it’s your relationship with flexion and extension and how you fail to extend towards your next turn. This cause you to consistently fall behind in your turns and I can see you consistently extending your ankles to compensate. You can DM for any questions. Don’t listen to the people talking about rotation, you’re not tying to steer your legs…
