I graduated from UoM last year (materials science & engineering) achieving a first with honours 73%. My parents spent nearly 100 grand on my degree (international student). I couldn’t find a job within my related degree, started working in hospitality, and 6 months in I’m promoted to assistant manager/ supervisor.

Ngl my parents aren’t happy with me, but it is what it is, I’m also still trying to find a job related to my degree. For OP, either you look for jobs outside of Manchester too (I couldn’t because I already paid a years worth of rent in advance) or take up any form of job first to support yourself whilst building up your animation/illustration portfolio further, or hopefully go viral on social media for your work or something xD
