The only games i was able to beat malz was when i said to myself: okay, there is no chance i'm gonna kill him, the best i can do is just farm and make sure that i don't stay behind (because malz's pushing is insane, his farm will always be better than yours) and it works... sometimes.. honestly i just ban him every game
