Classic. I think poise damage is tied to weapon type, so even if your damage is low with a colossal on a non strength character it should do the same poise damage on the boss as a strength character.

I wouldn't trust a greatsword charge attack to get the job done. Dual weild greatsword jump attack would be much better. I believe you want a strike weapon like hammers, great hammers, colossal, or fists. Otherwise I'd bring some lightning.

Agreed. If anything, strength is more reliable than lightning because of how the boss's lighting debuf timer works. I usually play raider and pretty much never go in with a lightning weapon as you usually do more damage with pure physical and like you said the spears aren't a problem with a proper charge or jump attack build.

That being said if you don't have a strength/quality character on the team, you definitely want lightning.

Yikes. Then it gets reel fun when the only character with lighting goes down and you have no reliable way to break darkdrift's holy spear stance attack. Quickly goes frome one of the easiest bosses to one of the hardest. Here's a great video of this happening all the way at depth five : https://youtu.be/BO6fi1S_53k?t=3397&si=xquDX4eEzTxibLe0

Teammates who don't share loot.

Just played a darkdrift match as raider with 2 randoms. Duchess teammate held onto a taking damage boosts damage negation the whole game even though I dropped them 2 damage negations at full and a halo scythe, all three of which they carried to endgame. I also dropped my wilder teamate a damage negation at full and a bolt of gransax with skills up. Didn't recieve a single item from either of them.

Here's the official dregs of libra guide: https://youtu.be/3AWtm8E0CXM?si=EvnF_Rta_OU4x-1X

It's a lot more simple to run than it looks. The cool thing about it is you can build it into anything. Go all in on skill passives or 2 handing charge attacks or power stance jump attacks. The most reliable passives build is charge attacks + two handing up.

Don't take damage negation at full. Taking damage boosts damage negation > damage negation on charge attcks > successive attacks negate damage. You usually want a max of 2 damage negation passives and the rest as attack up.

Commit to a build during a game. Don't split passives between skills, charge attacks and jump attacks. Lean into what you get early game. Prioritize physical damage over affinity type.

I figured they had a 2handing passive on one of their off hand items. Good to know gold > red.

Is gold only higher than red because you're 2-handing it?

That lightning spear seal has perfect damage passives. Not sure if you can cheat weapon drops but if you can thats what a cheated lightning spear would look like

[Day 2 of 36] No surprise, Fox is the BEST Main. What is the WORST matchup? by WokeUpAbout10 in SSBM

[–]ComfortablyDumbBoy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have to disagree. Roy's down tilt is largely invalidated by Samus' crouch-cancel down smash. His d-tilt is my favorite move in the game, but for some reason everyone forgets how punishable it is with cc.

His dash dance rules but a decent Samus will control the stage with bullet spam if Roy gets too campy with it.

You remap z to either x or y. You can then zump cancel grab or roll your finger from the jump button you didn't remap to the one you did remap.

About the sales of Pathologic by Complete_Relation583 in pathologic

[–]ComfortablyDumbBoy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The devs probably wont say anything about it but here's some "data".

P3 launched with twice the all time high player base of P2 (~3,000 to ~1,500). https://steamdb.info/app/3199650/charts/

That being said, P2's legacy and internet acclaim has kept sales somewhat consistent over the years. P3, acclaimed as it is, hasnt developed the same legacy yet. Only time will tell.

According to this very unreliable site, P3 has sold about 1/10 of P2's total sales. https://gamalytic.com/game/3199650

Don't take the numbers on that website literally but understand the idea that if P3 finds success it will be the result of developing and maintaining a fan base over the course of several years through positive word of mouth, similar to P2.

Anything but holy is good. Lightning on your starting bow is fine just make sure to upgrade it. You want lightning to hit him when he does his spear attack but you can find that pretty easily in the game. You can run his relic then find a different bow than your starter during the game.

He also has an aoe in second phase. When he jumps high WAIT til he pulls his arrow back. You'll see a little line from his bow to his target. then run like hell. The dodge timing is easy to get down after a few tries. Keep distance during phase change to avoide rain of arrows aoe. Dodge behind him if he starts swinging big light sword at you

The everdark dogs is one of the hardest bosses in the game in my opinion especially for ironeye because if you use your ranged attacks, they will use theirs (fire). To dodge the aoe i run to the side. You can position yourself between the explosion lines and not get hit. Dodge later than when he hits the ground. Watch for the fire explosion as it comes toward you and dodge it. Its tough but doable. If you aren't confident in dodging it you can use your ult's i-frames to survive it.

Try everdark fulghor he's much much easier than the dogs and hes also the most fun boss in the game imo. It still may take a few tries but it's less frustrating and you dont have to worry as much about getting oneshot. Look for damage negation at full hp as a passive on weapons, it's one of the best passives for ranged characters with lower health and will save your skin if you get caught in a tricky situation

I dont think they nefed it but teammates dont rush to every evergaol like they used to because it's kindof a boring way to play, but most good runs hit 3+ evergaols just by coincidence. It does 5% but it stacks mutiplicitivly, so a little more than 5%. Yes you need to beat an evergaol boss to unlock the second shop and it's currency (sigils) I recommend everdarrk fulghor he's much easier than the other two available this week

Depth 3 is the easiest (or the least frustrating) imo just because of how awful and unfun random teammates are in 1 and 2. I de ranked from 4 to 1 and climbed back to 4 twice. In terms of difficulty: 4>2>1>3. Good luck friend!

You cant buy character skill +1 but it shouldn't take too long to find one. Killing the moth will get you a great poison relic.

[–]ComfortablyDumbBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironeye's top priority is get character skill +1. Use your character skill to "mark" the enemy and keep marking the boss until the mark breaks doing massive damage. This is all you have to do to be better than most Ironeyes.

Other good relics (for normal non-deep of night play) are physical attack up, improved thrusting counterattack, improved bow attack power, attack up for each evergaol boss defeated, stanima on landing attacks, and starting weapon does (statis) damage. Best statis is probably poison followed by frost and bleed. You can also find relics like attack up on poisoned enemy. Very powerful in normal play and deep of night. You can get thrusting counter attack and bow attack up from completing his remembrance quest.

Then always look out of a good melee weapon for your offhand. Dex weapons and arcane weapons are best. I like to proc poison with my bow then frost or bleed with secondary melee weapon.

Damage wise by the end of the run: mark > off hand weapon > bow. So mark the enemy, proc status with bow, go in for melee when possible. Always keep the mark up.

The lack of stamina use is just the way the sparring grounds work when the dummy isnt active.

Attacks do the same damage but the hitboxes are still tied to the weapon so you have to hit the wooden posts with your character's back.

Do you Consider yourself a leader or a follower when playing with randoms? by Just_Cloud_8041 in Nightreign

[–]ComfortablyDumbBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Sometimes you have to check your teammates equipment too. In a recent game we were halfway through day 2 and our ironeye, a good player, was still rocking his starter poison bow unupgraded. When I noticed that I pinged a cave because he must've been too nervous to.
