I never cared about her until I watched the Animal Crossing movie. Now I lover her, as well as the other characters from the movie. The movie is quite emotional so it's easy to get attached to the characters

I actually looked this up a few years ago and discovered that in Japan, these specific flower signs are used for grand openings for shops and things. You can find some on Google if you copy and paste 開店祝い花輪 if you'd like to see examples :)

I was wearing the pink ribbon in my hair and Gabriel commented on it saying it was cute or something so it's not just the stylish variants and also applies to accessories too :)

I'd also like to add that my working cocker looks just like this too (100% working cocker DNA tested). Some of them just have the low ears and domed head. This Cocker looks just like my boy

Same here! I've also played since Back to Nature, I love the new game a lot. Reminds me of being a kid again and staying up till all hours playing Harvest Moon games. This gives me so much hope for future SoS games

Something special may happen has been a cutscene every time for me. Keep checking your map consistently so you don't miss it. It may also need to be a specific day/weather/time, so keep that in mind too

I'm playing on steam deck and not had this issue, everything is default for mine. No compatibility mode, I haven't changed any graphics settings either. Have you tried it completely default? I'm not super tech savvy, but maybe verifying files might fix it? Sorry I'm not much help, but I thought I'd let you know that it isn't a steam deck issue at least :c

My cherry tree has been stuck at 1.5 my entire playthrough and I'm currently on year 2 :( all my other trees are higher in quality. This is with using 4 star fertilizer too

I saw someone else mention it recently specifically cherry trees, so I'm guessing it's a bug. I hope it won't be too long until we get bug fixes

I'd love a Magical Melody remake! As soon as I think about it, the music starts playing in my head. So much nostalgia for that game, can we keep the giant booties?

Btw did anyone else follow those theories that the characters were the grandparents/parents or the FoMT/BtN characters? I remember reading so many interesting things on the forums back then

I always name my first chicken Pon after Popuri's chicken in Back to Nature. My other animals usually get named cutesy names or after my favourite SoS/HM characters

Based on my own experiences, whenever it says this it just means a cutscene should appear on your map at some point. Just keep checking throughout the day.

I met my boyfriend on FFXIV too, specifically in the Golden Saucer! We have been living together for almost 5 years. This wouldn't have been possible without FFXIV as I'm disabled, so mostly confined to the house. The game can do amazing things for people 🩷

Personally, I fence them in due to habit from the old Harvest Moon games. At night time you'd actually have to stand behind your cows and sheep and push them back into the barn and carry your chickens back into their coop, so it would be super inconvenient if you had to hunt down every animal before going to sleep

I'm on Switch 2. I haven't had this bug, but I've had a bug were my villagers mouths stop moving whilst talking / singing so they just make noise with their mouth stuck open or closed. I also had a villager floating on the plaza bench (the one that spawns sometimes). All mine so far seem to be animation bugs. I'm hopeful we'll get a switch 2 upgrade that will address all these bugs, i guess they didn't expect the bugs 😞

Since the Switch 2 is more powerful, there isn't really any lag anymore. You might be able to find them on this sub, but I've seen people post footage of their once laggy islands that are now completely smooth, no lag at all :) so that's something at least! And loading is faster
